East to West by Enas I. Muthaffar (Palestine). 16min, 2004. Saturday, February 4th @ 6:30pm The year is 2004, and the separation wall that is being built in Palestine will force the family of the filmmaker, Enas, to move from one home to another, in order to avoid being on the wrong side of the wall. She was born in the apartment she has to abandon…and her father was born in a house in Jaffa that he had to leave in 1948. Each generation has had to face a move... Arabic with English subtitles. 2. The Last Supper-Abu Dis by Issa Freij & Nicolas Wadimoff (Palestine) 28min. 2005. Saturday, February 4th @ 7:00pm At the section in direct vicinity of Abu Dis, located at the city boundary to Jerusalem, a solid concrete wall of 9 meters height is being constructed. The Last Supper is a documentary that presents a changing society confronted with difficult circumstances of living, the effect of which they cannot yet exactly assess. Arabic with English subtitles.
